KakaPrivacy Policy

Yancheng Juchuang Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how Kaka collects, uses, stores and protects your information.
1. Information kept on your phone
Your height, weight, birthday, sex, food log, meal photos, water, workouts and weight entries stay on your phone by default. Only when you turn on Cloud Sync are these records (excluding photos) sent over an encrypted connection and backed up to our server so you can restore them on a new device.

3. Apple Health data
With your permission, the app reads steps and active energy and writes weight. Health data is used only on your phone. It is never uploaded to our server, never used for advertising and never shared with third parties.
4. Third-party services
- Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen): recognizes meal photos and text descriptions. We send only the image and text needed for recognition.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases and Apple Health.
- Alibaba Cloud SMS: sends phone sign-in codes. Only the phone number and code are sent.
- Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation: checks images you post in groups for illegal or harmful content. Only the image address is sent. Images that fail review are deleted immediately.
- WeChat Open Platform: WeChat sign-in. The authorization code is sent to WeChat only if you choose WeChat sign-in.
- Open Food Facts: looks up public nutrition data when you scan a barcode. Only the barcode number is sent.
5. Storage, international transfer and security
Our servers are located in mainland China. If you use Kaka outside China, the information described above is transferred to and processed in China when you use online features such as recognition, sign-in, groups or cloud sync. All connections are encrypted. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your cloud backup, group posts and comments.
6. Your rights
- Access and correction: edit your nickname and body data under Profile → Personal Info.
- Deletion: delete your account under Profile → Delete Account. You can also clear local data under Profile → Preferences.
- Withdraw consent: turn off camera, photos, microphone, notification or Health access in iPhone Settings.
- For any other request about your data, including a copy of it, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 15 working days.
7. Children
Kaka is not intended for children under 14. Users under 18 should use the app with a parent or guardian. The app limits the calorie deficit for minors.
